60年代後半よりロングフォームのアコースティック・ドローンを作曲してきたNYアヴァン界の大家Phill Niblock。90年代~00年代初頭に米老舗レーベルExperimental Intermediaに残した名作3種の内の一つ2002年発表の[YPGPN]。オリジナルはラフ・トレードのサポートを得て設立されたBlast FirstとThe Wireマガジンが共同制作した95年の作品であり、それをXIがリイシューしたのがコレ。アメリカンミニマリズムの名作演奏に挑んできたUlrich Krieger、米アバンジャズのトロンボーン・プレイヤーGeorge Lewisが参加しており、フルート、サックス、そしてなんとディジュリドゥまでが飛び出す3種の中で最もハードコア且つ重厚感満載の2CD。マスト。
