90年代中期より様々なユニットで活動、映画音楽なども手掛けつつこの個人変名OrghanonではTime Released SoundやEibon Recordsに諸作を残してきたイタリアのコンポーザーSergio Calzoni。Silentesの姉妹レーベルであるSt.An.Da.より出版した2022年3月の最新作[Droneworks I-V]。そのタイトル通り催眠及び瞑想状態を誘発することを目的とした長編のサウンドスケープ作であり、前作で使用されていた生楽器の類は一切排除し薄い雑音とエレクトロニクスでモノクロの濃密イメージを構成。複雑に変容するレイヤーの動きにひたすら浸って頂きたい完全陶酔系の内容。



"Droneworks I-V" is a collection of five long beatless soundscapes, composed with the purpose of inducing hypnotic and meditative states. Healing music, aiming to calm the mind from the background noise of our chaotic reality. ORGHANON is the solo venture of Sergio Calzoni, producer and musician active since the '90s in various musical outfits (Alma Mater, Act Noir, Colloquio, ILUITEQ). With ORGHANON Sergio Calzoni blends melancholy with silence, depicting stark yet deeply emotional soundtracks for imaginary places. In 2015 the debut album "Figures in Slow Motion" was released by Eibon Records, receiving numerous praises by critics and music lovers. In 2016 ORGHANON composed the soundtrack for the theatre performance "F_rankenstein", a revamped version of the Frankenstein myth produced by the acting company Officina Teatrale A_ctuar. In the same year the track "Ardor" was included in the album "Belet Ili" of the Italian experimental project Svart1. In March 2017 the album "Retrospectre" was released by the American label Time Released Sound. Compared to the previous works, this album featured the contributions of several guest musicians, performing parts of violin, viola, cello, harp and clarinet.
