大変貴重且つ高内容な最初期アーカイヴ!!大推薦！！!81年にパルマで始動したイタリアの重要エクスペリメンタル・プロジェクトTomografia Assiale Computerizzata(T.A.C)結成時のメンバーであり、Ikue MoriやMax Eastley、Z'EVと共同制作も行ってきた大ベテランSimon Balestrazzi。現在も精力的に新作を発表し続ける人物ですが、本作はT.A.C結成以前の79年から82年までの最初期音源を纏めたアーリーワークス。屋根裏部屋に保管されていたという10代後半の音源であり、様々な試行錯誤を繰り返したベッドルームでの実験。安価なオープンリールを駆使し練り上げたミュージック・コンクレート~インダストリアルを行き来するストレンジな感触は間違いなく通好み。ゲートフォールド・カードスリーヴにて限定200部。







The material collected on this album unexpectedly resurfaced from a bunch of forgotten tapes stored for decades in an attic. Created by a young Balestrazzi in his late teens, these recordings were realized with rather primitive equipment like cheap reel to reel recorders, radio short wave, abused record players.
"Album Nero" ("Black Album", i.e. tracks 1 to 5) was recorded between 1979 and 1980 and was Balestrazzi very first foray into "industrial" music, in an era when industrial and noise music were far from well known or even aknowledged in Italy.
The remaining four selections, here labelled as "Early Experiments", make use of some recordings from the same period but were reworked in the following two years.
