14年ぶりの新作!!期待以上の完成度!!ドイツはハンブルグにて80年代中期から謎めいた活動を展開、明確なアーティストを立てず(以前よりFelix KubinやUli Rehberg、Asmus Tietchensらの参加が噂されて来た)淡々と音盤リリースを継続して来たプロジェクトWerkbund。活動当初より神話と海洋の歴史をテーマに掲げ音制作を行なっているプロジェクトであり、本作でも退廃感たっぷりのモノクロ・イメージを創出。持続音ベースながら異様なグルーヴが終始浮かび上がります。





“Enigmatic industrial/experimental band from Hamburg, Germany. The sound deals mainly with marine tales and myths from Northern Germany. So far it is not known who the artists are. It has been guessed that Felix Kubin and Uli Rehberg and other artists from Hamburg might be involved. Some people speculate that both Werkbund and Mechthild Von Leusch involve the collaboration of Asmus Tietchens and Uli Rehberg, though Asmus Tietchens has repeatedly denied any participation in the band.”

The presentation once again suggests a maritime theme, immersed in mythical-historical fog, as we know it from all previous publications of the project.
