米ジャズトランペット・プレイヤー、コンポーザーとして活動、様々な即興及びエクスペリメンタルレーベル80以上に及ぶセッション音源を残している大ベテランNate Wooley。ここEditions Verdeの主催者であるJordan Dykstra共にプロデュースし作り上げた、約44分に及ぶ長編一曲のコンテンポラリー新作[Moths]。クラリネット、フルート、ピアノ、オートハープ、ボイスを操るトリオが静謐な点描演奏を展開、後半に進むに連れ徐々に霞んだ持続音へと変貌する一連の展開が非常に美しい。
