凄まじい内容の物件です...。前衛及びサウンドポエトリー・ファンは是非!!1960年から1999年までフランスの保護区フォンテーヌブローの森で隠遁生活を送っていた芸術家ChomoことRoger Chomeaux。一人で何百もの文章や詩を書き続け、自作のオーバーダビング・システムを駆使しテープに記録していた人物であり、本作は恐らく初の出版になるであろう、氏のグラフィック・ポエムを掲載したアコーディオンスタイルの本と4つの主要な朗読音源を纏めたセット作品。独自の表音文字で記されたポエムが非常にカッコ良く、また怪しい音響と共に進行するヘビーな朗読も最高。もっと広く知られるべき隠れ名作。





Accordion-style book with facsimiles of graphic poems by Chomo written in his phonetic script, accompanied by a CD featuring four major poems recited by Chomo and a booklet transcribing the texts into standard French. Limited to 200 copies.

Chomo a enregistré des centaines de textes, poèmes et musiques seul
dans son Village d’Art Préludien à Achères-la-Forêt sur des vieux
magnétophones, parfois en superposant textes et expérimentations
sonores. Il écrivait ses poèmes avec une graphie particulière et
utilisant son propre alphabet phonétique, rejetant toute contrainte de
la société.
Le livre reproduit certains de ses poèmes graphiques. Le CD contient
quatre enregistrements de poèmes, voire poèmes-sonores, grâce à
l’archivage initié par Laurent Danchin. Le livret comprend également
la transcription en français « académique » (« cacadémique » dirait
Chomo…) des textes initiaux de Chomo ici reproduits.
